I always get bites it the yard. Usually mosquitoes. Nobody else will have bites but it never fails, those little insects will find me. I have always just used alcohol as soon as I find a bite and the itching will stop eventually.
This product has been around about 40 years. But now they have added baking soda to the solution to make it long lasting. Never heard of this product before, have you?
A pharmacist recommended this product so I tried it and have been using it ever since. Works great. Almost as soon as you rub it on the bite, the itching stops.
And it is the size of a writing pen. Very convenient and easy to use. I tried the type in the green box and it works great.
Yes, I have been out under the trees looking up and around for baby bluebirds. I hear the parents but still cannot find the babies. That is how I got the bug bites. Oh well. I am done for the day. I know they will be safe.
Crazy bird lady here just cannot stop, even when they fledge. I still want to know how the babies are doing.

I'm glad you found a product that works for you. I usually just use calamine lotion.
I hope the little fledgling bluebirds are okay. I'm sure they are, if mom and dad were still hanging around while you were out there looking.

@CarolDM I agree, the calamine lotion can be a bit messy. Plus, it's pink, so it's funny to see little pink splotches all over me when I put it on my bug bites!

@moffittjc I didn't mind when I used it as a child, I didn't know any better. And it was all we had.

I know the feeling. Everyone else is saying "Oh, but there's no mosquitoes here!" but you get stung or bitten every time.
I haven't tried that one, but I got several anti-bite-remedies from when I was in Greece in November last year. I got bitten every night, so I bought both the anti-mosquitoe and the after-bite-stuff.

I've never heard of this product either. I'm glad that it is helping you with the itching from the bites. We don't have that many mosquitoes. I guess it's because we live in the city and the city usually sprays for them. I can't remember the last time I was bitten.

@CarolDM I actually just remembered when I was bitten last. It was when we lived in Jonesboro, Ar and the property we lived on was out in the country. Our first summer there, you couldn't walk out the door without being covered in them. I've never seen them that bad before. The property we lived on was managed by my brother, so he called pest control, and they sprayed our whole area. We didn't have any more after that.

Thanks for the product recommendation. This would be helpful if we ever get to Florida. Let us know if you find the baby bluebirds. (I know you will) :-)

Are they for mosquito bite only? I hope it works also for other bites like ants.
