Hello everyone. As you can tell, this is not going to be a happy post to read and I’m not going to go into a lot of details because as I’m writing this, even I don’t know them.
My aunt Leslie passed away unexpectedly this morning.
And while we weren’t as close as both of us would have wanted, this has rocked me to my very core. I’m sad and I am angry. How could this beautiful women who was so full of life and love for her family just be fine from us with a blink of an eye???
I’ve reached out to my cousins to let them know how sorry I am and to let me know if they need anything and to tell them that I love them. Other than that, I really don’t know what to do.
I’m hoping that me or my sister will get the info for her funeral because we will want to go but as it is, we are a broken family.
I don’t talk to virtually anyone on my dads side except for the two cousins I reached out to today and one uncle.
I haven’t cried yet and won’t until I can be alone and process this loss so for now I remain strong and am prepared to help in any way I can.
Rest In Peace Aunt Leslie.
