My brother came with a quince jam he had made.

A couple of years ago, my brother gave his wife a Thermomix. When I learned the price, I was left open mouthed.
But it seems that the pot tells you to put this and that and then go and do what you want.
Last year, I invited them twice for dinner. Cecilia said she´d bring the dessert. Once she brought tiramisu and the next time cinnamon rolls. Both were delicious and very prffesional looking. She said the Thermomix had done them.
The question is, should I spend the little amount of money I have left buying this very pricey gadget?
The quince jam was delicious. And he confessed that he had just followed instructions from the machine.
Have you seen it?

No I haven't seen it. If you do a lit of baking & entertaining, why not. Just as easy to buy pastries that goes in sale or get ready to mix ones. But up to you, if affordable.

@marguicha I agree. Surely something to cook with can't be worth that much.

Sound interesting but I don't know what it looks like. I would love to learn of this device and maybe one day can have one for myself.

It works like magic (you can check it online) but it is far too expensive.

I've never seen it.. I wouldn't spend $1,000 on a small appliance; but that's just me.

I haven't heard of thermo mix machine. From the name it appears to be a machine that heats and mixes the ingredients as per the program selected from the menu.
