Finally the Rains Have Come

We certainly had a long dry spell. This morning it was still hot and sunny. I watched a family go down our street heading for the beach. I saw most of the little boys without T-shirts and thought how wrong it was that they were not protected from the harsh sun. Anyway, by late afternoon the sky clouded over and soon thunder boomed and lightning flashed and the rain poured down. It is raining presently and it looks like it will probably rain all night.

That is one of my favorites on rainy nights or even days, I can see the rain coming down through my window and the late-night breeze is wonderful @JudyEv

The worst of the bad storm just missed me, but my son only was a few miles away had lightening strikes hitting the parking lot at his job.
