A Complicated Grief

I sort of disappeared from myLot for the past three weeks. I've spent some days in shock and traumatized, and I've been taking care of funeral arrangements, legal and financial matters and spending time with my family.
My husband suddenly died at home from cardiac arrest on July 5. He was only 60. He was seemingly healthy and fit for his age. He only drank in moderation and never did drugs or smoked. Everyone is shocked.
He and I had been separated for quite awhile, but we still lived on the same property. Recently I had been considering different housing for myself. He had made initial calls to a divorce attorney. Our marriage had been quite troubled for a long time.
However, we were married for 35 years and we were still each other's best friend in so many ways.
I'm doing as well as can be expected. I'm worried about my two adult children. But we all live in the same town and we have a lot of love and support here- for which I am extremely grateful.
Now to move forward, one day at a time.

Yes I have been in a somewhat surreal state until the past few days. The numbness is starting to wear off and the tears are flowing more easily now. Thank you so much @JudyEv.

Such a sad news. My dad is 63 and have angina. He used to be heavy smoker in his working days but he stopped after retirement. He remains disturbed in this unusual times we all are going through in this virus .
May his soul rest in peace, what else can I say.
