Plant based diet is a kind of a diet that has become a trend nowadays. I did a lot of research on this for some days before arriving at a particular conclusion. I have seen people discussing various types of benefits regarding its benefits, but I would love to ask from those who have experienced a plant based diet before. So here is my question for you all - has anyone of you had any experience with plant based diet before ? If yes, could you share with me? I am also planning to make a shift to a plant based diet if possible but before this shift I would love to know from you all how you guys(or let's say anyone of you) had an experience with plant based diet before? If yes could you tell me some tips as well?

I think we are all habitual of non healthy food so plant based diet is very good option for a long term to live healthy. If you suggest what type diet we can take and in what proportion ,it will be more beneficial to me.

Im planning to eat more vegetables and plant based but i do still eat meat. But this time I'll eat meat in moderation unlike before i eat too much meat. Now being more health conscious, i would buy more plant based food and some fruits and some vegetables. But when you eat more plant based and vegetables that you get full faster so you tend to eat less. You get more satisfied and you feel more light and healthy. I tend to choose to buy what is cheap and available on the market. I don't buy vegetable and plant based just because i have seen others online recommending it. For now, i have bought this plant based vegetable which is like the local version of lettuce. Lettuce is very expensive here so the local version that looks similar to lettuce is what I eat. I just wash it in running water and soak it in hot water for free seconds then i eat it with sliced boiled eggs. I wrap sliced eggs with the leaves. Then i drink plain water and some vegetables. Some fish. That's my food the whole day. I feel satisfied already. No rice no bread no sweets. Hopefully i can maintain this kind of lifestyle permanently. But for now i enjoy doing this

A plant based diet is no meat, dairy, and those that follow it strictly also avoid sugar, salt, and oil. If your interested in starting a whole food plant based lifestyle keep your meals simple and do meal planning. Using frozen fruits and vegetables help make meals simple and cheap. Follow Fat Man Rants on FB for great ideas he also has a website under the same title. For a more indepth explanation of the benefits and reasons to change look into books by Dr. Joel Fuhrman. It is very healthy, it can be fun and reasonably priced. Depending on how prepared you are for the change will depend on how easy or difficult the change can be.
