Happy Saturday Everyone

I hope that you have having a good Saturday. I began my day by having breakfast with my friend Irene. This week we decided to dine closer to her house. I drove there to meet her at 9 am.
She chose Dad's which is a local restaurant. We had hoped to eat outside but the picnic tables were all filled. We ended up dining inside. We had a booth and no one was close to us which made me feel quite comfortable.
I ordered pancakes that are rolled around sugar, cinnamon and walnuts. Irene had a french toast special which was lemon and blueberry/ I didn't take any pictures which is not like me.
I got a side order of bacon and a glass of cranberry juice to go with my breakfast. I got a small stack and I was not even able to eat half. I brought home lots of leftovers and three pieces of bacon for Al to enjoy.
After breakfast, we went back to her house to play games. We played a game of Scrabble and one of Ticket to Ride. We also played Pass the Pig. I liked that so much I ordered one from Amazon to bring down to the beach to play with Kasey and Jack.
I came home about 1:30 I threw in a load of laundry and downloaded my last article that was due today and now I am watching Murdoch Mysteries.

You've had a very good day.
My day is going well. I got my notifications finished early, took a walk, had a round of exercise first thing this morning since I don't go to the pool on Saturday, and opened my book, and worked on that before coming back here. It's been a good day here too.

@BelleStarr Thank you. If I can get out for a walk today, I'll be taking my camera with me. I took a trail near my home yesterday that is beautiful to walk down. It was only a small portion of the trail, but worth it. It also added a thousand steps to my usual walk.
My book is coming along well, which makes me very happy.

It is something we do every Saturday when I am not in Florida. It gives us a chance to visit and catch up. Next Saturday I will order food delivered to my house and we will eat here.

I miss those days when my former boss whom I worked with at my daughter's former school kitchen. She would invite me and my daughter and sometimes my daughter would come and sometimes now. Ever since we moved here in El Paso, all i ever do is have breakfast with my husband, I wish he could also make breakfast for a change.
I miss going to iHop since you mentioned pancakes. I love french toasts as well as crepe.
okay now I'm becoming hungry :-D
i have been reading different things in Pinterest. There's just so much in there :-)
I was also doing my tutorial.
I'm just taking a break now.

I really am a fan of crepes, that is what my mom always made. They are not so easy to find in a restaurant.

You had a great Saturday.
We just relaxed together today at home.
It was a nice change.
Now that our son has moved we are not being asked to drive down to their place to help with packing things. Although, he does want us to come over and have my hubby possibly help him setting up the tools in his shed. And of course he won't say no.

Of course not, I take any opportunity to visit with any of our children. These days Saturday is my favorite day because Irene and I do breakfast, we both look forward to it every week.

I'm glad you had a good day with Irene and had breakfast and playing games. I spent my day cleaning my room washing bedsheets etc. Now i'm relaxing mylotting and watching movies with a drink. Home by myself tonight but it's fine I need the down town after a busy week.

Wow, sounds like you've already had a full day. I've been mostly keypunching and doing some laundry. One load has already dried and the second probably will too before the end of the day, it's currently only 95f but should get up to about 98f before the end of the day, good temps for drying clothes.

When I got into my car at Irene's it said 102 which is way too hot but the reality is that it was about 89 today.

They were very good but for me a little sweet, if I made them myself I would put a wee bit less sugar but the combo was good.

Sounds like a great way to start your Saturday. Those pancakes sound delicious
It's a beautiful day here today so after making a trip to Sam's Club for a pickup I sat outside and read my book.

That is also a good way to spend a Saturday and the pancakes were very good but a little sweet for me, I definitely didn't need any syrup.
