Do YOU wring...

...your hands if being nervous? When I was young or feeling young, I sometimes feel the episode of nerve-racking moments. Instead of wringing my hands, I firmly grasp a coin to walk through things in my life. As the years go by, I do not need to do this since I am confident enough to face people if being in the spotlight. Are wringing of hands an option for you? Do you still feel nervous in a particular situation? Image Credit: visme.co

Yes. I think I have a problem as my hands get sweaty when I feel a little excited or feel nervous. This happens to me all the time. It is a problem for many people. Once I attended a class, grooming class, or something where the teacher showing us what to do when you go to an interview. She said some of your hands can get sweaty which is common. So in case you go to the interview room and shake hands with the interviewer, it is not going to be a good idea to shake the hand with your sweaty one. So it's better to keep powder in your pocket. Before you enter the room, use the powder so that your palms won't be sweaty. I still have this problem.

I think that it is a good idea to use powder for sweaty hands because of being anxious. We just need to be careful not to mess our outfits during the interview.

@sparial02 I think you can try to have the home remedy of this sweaty hands. This is just only a suggestion. You can try to soak your hands in lukewarm water with a little salt for an hour.

@Shavkat Yes. Even my palms are sweating right now. It doesn't happen all the time. It happens sometimes. And it is actually pretty bad sometimes. I had to face the embarrassing handshake situations quiet a few times. From then, I try my best to be careful at that.

When I have to be in the spotlight, I just take a deep breath and go for it. It's only the starting that is always the scary part lol

The first reaction is nerve-racking, but it will be fine once you started talking.

I think we can deal with this concern in our own ways. Besides, we are still humans that can feel the anxiety in a particular situation.

@Aurel2 Before, I usually look above the interviewer's head, so that the nervousness will be lessened.
