Tea or coffee are must to start the day and I have the habit wherein I cannot have tea without a biscuit or something to munch and in India we have a variety of snacks available which tastes yummy with tea. Am not sure the exact translation of these in English but these are called Mathi in India and are made from all purpose flour and it's so yummy.
What do you like to have with your tea or coffee?

I will drink a cup of tea, once in a while but I drink coffee often. My favorite treat with coffee is a doughnut or a cinnamon roll.

I am a coffee addict I must highlight! Nonetheless every now and then when I am feeling stressed out I'd rather drink a mug of tea to slow down!

There's no translation for Mathi. They are a deep-fried savoury biscuit flavoured with thyme (actually ajwain seed, which has a strong flavour of thyme, even though it's not related) or, sometimes, other things like cumin or cardamom.
In England most people like a sweet biscuit with tea and it is very often 'dunked' (that is, dipped in the tea to soften the biscuit) before eating. Dunking is generally considered a habit of the lower classes and not done in polite society, nevertheless, many people who consider themselves 'polite' do it in private.
Almost any biscuit (which is, a 'cookie' in American English - NOT the scone-like thing they call a 'biscuit' there, which is eaten as a savory with sausages and a sauce called 'gravy') can be served with tea. Probably the closest to your mathi would be the Digestive biscuit, which is a not very sweet, wholemeal biscuit which can also be served with cheese, though not at tea time. The digestive is often considered ideal for dunking.

@Butterfingers We have quite a good Indian store in the village. I have seen quite a lot of snacks there but I haven't noticed mathi. It's possible that I missed it, of course. It sounds pretty simple to make, though, if you aren't afraid of deep frying.

Thanks for the explanation and this also means mathi isn't available in other parts of the world but I think there are Indian stores maybe in other countries which sell Mathis there

I like drinking coffee most alone with nothing on the side. Some times I’ll have eggs or toast or some other breakfast type food.
