I've never tried that but I tried lychee and it was not for me. Curious to try the rambutan though. Not sure if I've seen it here. Maybe the Asian supermarket might have it.

The shelf life of Rambutan is short so I don't think it can reach your place.

I actually thought it was lychee as soon as I saw the picture. I'm sure it tastes great because I like the taste of lychee. Enjoy the delicious fruits!!

Yes, it has a seed and easy to grow a seedling. I just cannot say if it will bear fruit.

Still have not seen rambutans being peddled or sold in my place perhaps because of strict measures being implemented but I can feel it's coming soon I love to take advantage of buying fruits that are in season.
