This is a flower I see blooming among wild plants and bushes.I find them behind the playground or beside the village paths. Isn't it beautiful? In spite of its beauty it has not found a place of honour in flower gardens or flower pots. Perhaps because it is tender and withers in a short time. What its name may be? I have christened it "Violet of the Wild" for its center is deep violet and petals are of a lighter hue. Love you Violet, you remind me of the innocent children of the aborigine village.

Many of those wild flowers have a raw beauty of their own.

It looks like a hibiscus. Is it?

It does look like hibiscus. However, its plant is smaller than that of hibiscus and rather tender.

It's very pretty. It reminds me of a plant we call the 'native hibiscus'.

@franxav It is probably not the same plant but the flower is similar.

Glad to know its name. In a way, it gives me the same feeling of "nativeness" that inspired me to call it Violet of the Wild.

It surely is. In this wide world beauty is spread everywhere. The poets tell we lack leisure and eyes to see it.
