In Indian culture when we meet someone we don't shake hand but join our hand and say namaste.
We keep shoes and slippers outside and wash our hands and legs before entering house .
Now after Covid pandemic started people are following these steps compulsorily to avoid infection.
Truly many old beliefs are still relevant.

As we walk lot of dirt and germs attach to our feet. So to keep our house free from germs and dirt feet is washed.

@jayanth_77 since before the virus came, I am not comfortable with that social manners. I do not hug or kiss my relatives. I only hug friends who are beautiful and sexy. Waheehee.
