What's for dinner tonight?

I decided to try somethinng different for dinner tonight, based on the stew meat and zucchini dish I made in Montana.
I bought some "stir fry" beef (from Safeway) and made some "instant" mashed potatoes on the side. To celebrate all of the curries I smell around here, I bought some red curry powder for about $9.00.
I cooked up the beef in a frying pan on high heat (I like the center red), over olive oil, and then sprinkled on a bit of red curry powder and salt and as I turned the heat off and then added a small pat of butter to the instant mashed potatoes.
The result was really good. I only wish I had bought some zucchini to add to the mix.
Note: I did take a picture of my concoction as I was getting it ready, but it disappeared for some reason. I have 3/4 of my beef left, and will take a picture next time I cook this up.

@LindaOHio I actually really like good ol' clam chowder. But I haven't had it for awhile.

@TheHorse Come on over. We shall eat in 30 minutes. Do you want pickled okra on the side ?

Sounds good. We had the last of our fresh tomatoes from the garden...sure am going to miss them. For dinner I cooked venison steaks with gravy, mashed potatoes, fried okra and fried cornbread.

@TheHorse Bambi is alive and well in the NC woods. We're almost out of the deer meat my husband killed and processed last fall, so hoping he'll get more when hunting season starts soon. I don't think you can buy venison here. I haven't marinaded any, but I might try it.

What you made sounds tasty. I don't remember what I ate on the date you posted this discussion but tonight we had fried chicken tenders (without any breading) and thin spaghetti in tomato sauce.
