Thinking of starting College.. One step at a time.

Hi all. Hope everyone is having a wonderful day/night. It has been a while! I am almost 30 years old, and am thinking of doing a single college course, just to see if I will like it. The long-term goal, is to do a full college program, hopefully in GIS/Cartographic Specialist (Geographic Information Systems - specializing in map making, essentially). Hopefully I can stick with it, and achieve my goal. One of the problems for me, is actually committing to college, as I have applied before and did not end up going. I think this should be different.

I think there is no age limit in studying at a university. I am sure it is a good idea.

You are correct, I will use my mom as an example - she took Nursing in college at, around, age 50 or so. Thank you for the kind words!

I believe that if its something that you really want to do, then you will do it. It definitely takes one day at a time, but the most important aspect of it all is effort. Do not give up on your dream! I believe you will succeed this time around.
