Okay, I always get weird looks from people when I tell them I was a Correctional Officer at an All Male Prison. And worked there for about 2 years.
They seem to think they know me and when I tell them this they don't believe me. Why???
Is it because I look innocent? Is it because I look weak?
Why do people judge me for how I look?
I'm just as capable as the next guy. So why judge me?

if you put it on your cv or resume and the name of your supervisor, then it's up to them to do a background check to confirm if you worked there.
so how did you end up working there? do they train you? was the contract only for 2 years?

We're often surprised when we find that our assumptions are wrong.

My current (female) pastor worked in corrections, and in security, before going back to school and becoming a pastor. I would not judge her by her looks either. She is capable and smart.
