Donate A Phone.

I received a message yesterday from a former teacher of my daughter when she was in her primary school. The teacher is now teaching in a public school. She texted me the program of their school, the "Donate A Phone" project. This is to collect old and used but still working smartphone.
This is for the benefit of the students of that public school. The teacher told me that many students there really are poor and do not have the means to buy gadgets.
I am trying to see if I have an old one here and also ask some friends if they have one that they can donate. I am hoping they can get more.15 people like this

It is such a nice act when donating your old stuffs that can really be of help with people who can't afford to buy new ones. From time to time, our family donates, or should I say, put old items in front of our house for people just to get it for free. There are times also people don't want it but sure, there are people who knows how to recreate things from old clothes/bags, etc. It is nice being of help to others even if just by giving old stuffs to them.
As for the phone, I hope I have knowledge to fix cellphones so that phones stuck in here can still be used.

If the phone is for online schooling during this pandemic, that would be very difficult for students. Probably old CPU's will do because, anyway, most are now using laptops or tabs so the CPU's must have been set aside in the corner.

@rakski Yes, I know it's for the online schooling and I think a phone would be difficult to use for that. Just popping up every now and then. Hope you and your family are fine, especially your hubby who's having some health issues.

That's a really good idea. This project also looking good, hope they collect good mobiles soon..this really helps a lot for poor students for continuing their studies.
