Sky Drive Inc., a Japanese company successfully demonstrated a test drive of the first ever manned flying car named SD-03. The test drive was conducted on August 25, at the Toyota Test Field, where the car is being developed. The SD-03 is said to be launched in 2023. They haven't announced it's price yet. From Porche to a flying car. Interesting. We'll need more pilots!

It is easy to get a pilot's license nowadays. I wonder how much they will keep the price, well I believe that will come from the exchange of one of my kidneys.

@Mbenieve But I have to live to take a ride on that car. Maybe I can get a rental of 30 days or something for one of my kidneys.

They've been around for several years, and I've already looked into to them. The problem is flying car laws need developing first. I want one!

@Mbenieve Many companies have them. When I looked at prices a few years ago, they weren't too badly priced.

@DianneN it's a good thing if many companies have them. Because they will keep the price low due to competition.

I can be one of the pilot!!!!! Yes, I read this news and it is really very encouraging. No traffic jams and sauce!!! BTW, I have some soft corner for Kenya and Nigeria. Because, while coming back from Lagon, I had opted for Kenyan Airlines - Fantastic Service - and I was with the airline for more than 5 hours. After a stopover at Nairobi, our airlines were switched. But, I really enjoyed my flight! [They offered me the superior quality liquor, till the time I was exhausted)! [Hey, not more than 3 pegs!] I wanted to fly via Egypt but due to time constraint could not fulfill my dream! Nice to meet you on mYlot

Glad to hear you enjoyed your flight with the Kenya Airlines. I hope you come for a vacation some day. There are so many things to see and so many places to visit, I.e the national parks. I'm confident that you'll love the hospitality here. The flying car will be a great time-saver. Happy to meet you too my friend.

Cost would be a big factor for widespread adoption of this technology.

I totally agree. If it's too pricey then only a few will afford.
