Did you know that carabao or water buffalo milk is an underrated drink? It is underrated because what we usually see in the supermarket is cow's milk.But did you know that it is lower in cholesterol and higher in calcium and energy,The philippine government uses it to fight against malnutrition it is nutritious. The best carabaos in the philippines can give 7 liters of milk in a day average one,only 3 liters a day. Have you ever tried to drink carabao's milk? Photo by internet

I had no idea about this.. i usually just drink cow's milk too or soy milk... how is the taste of carabao's milk different?

Is carabao different from our normal domestic buffaloes? Buffalo milk is very common here because compared to cow buffalo gives much more milk.

@fluffy69 What we get here is buffalo milk only. Cow milk is very rare as the quantity of milk that cow gives is much less than that of buffalo.

i like its taste, especially when the curd starts at the top. it is so good i can eat it with rice. a pure carabao milk here is costly now. before, a bottle of bilog is placed at the door and this is not stolen by others. now, in an instant, anything in front of the door vanishes away.

I haven't really tried fresh carabao's milk but I have tried an ice cream with a carabao's milk on it. And it tastes so good.

I know cow's milk is very bad for adults. I never heard of carabaos milk and don't think it's sold here.
