I'm watching Carrie on tv right now, think it's on USA channel. Was actually one of the better movies made out of his books, I think anyway. As far as my favorite book, liked a lot of his old stuff, think I'd have to go with Salem's Lot with the vampires. But after seeing other posts, I'll probably change my mind lol...

I have a hard time choosing, but I think I liked the Dark Tower series the best, it was just such a great story.

I liked IT. I never got through the book, but the movie scared the pants off me!
I got a compilation of novella's of his once and it had most of my favourites in;
The body (made into movie 'Stand by me')
Apt Pupil
The shawshank redemption
and another I can never remember. I really liked all of these movies when they were made because they stayed very faithful to the books. I think the shawshank redemption is my favourite story of all time.

See? I'd forgotten all about those! Those were great movies too. Guess most of his movies weren't that bad. I just keep thinking about some of the more scarier ones, they ended up kinda cheesy as movies. You definitely need to finish reading IT. Book was much better, they way he described everything...gave you the chills lol. I liked a lot of his short stories as well, the Night Shift book was also good. Thanks for replying!!
