Happy Wedding Anniversary to my parents in heaven. That’s where true love ends up together. Although they weren’t married on Labor Day, they worked hard to make sure their three children grew up in a happy, loving home. We did the same for our two children.
Hubs and I finished off our beautiful Labor Day weekend with a luncheon picnic and a few hours of kayaking. We rented a two person kayak, and my hubby insisted on doing most of the rowing. He serenaded me with love songs and some funny favorites which made us laugh hysterically.
I believe our marriage is just as good as my parents marriage was and just as happy.

That's great! Hope it stays that way!
Wonderful photo. I love b&w photos the best.
Hubby and I will have our 4-year wedding anniversary this November.

@DianneN Who knows if it will last a lifetime but I hope he isn't going anywhere anytime soon, even though I wish things were different.

That is so wonderful to hear that you and hubs have such a strong and happy marriage! Looks like you two discovered the secret of happiness together (and no, it's not his singing)!

@DianneN Sounds like you truly met your soulmate, which seems to be a rarity these days. Keep loving him, having fun with him, and keep laughing at his singing! But don't ever let him buy the boat! haha

It shows you have a wonderful marriage, married life.
According to theologians, when we get to heaven, husband and wife are no longer called couples, we will not call our kids as our kids, or parents as parents. We are all brothers and sisters.

That is a wonderful photo of your parents two very lovely people. My parents were also a very happy couple and that is why mom never married again. I am glad to think they are now together. Thank you for the reminder I have forgotten which September but my mom and dad got married in September in Detmold Germany at a DP Camp

What a dapper couple your parents are. :-)
I'm so happy to hear you and your hubby are happy together and so were your parents. You know, I have heard it said that whatever relationship you witnessed your parents in growing up, you end up "drawing" that sort of relationship to yourself.
