This is really very embarrassing to ask for salary to me. All month long I worked hard and office doesn’t pay on time and they expect that we ask for salary and then they'll pay or else they may take it to another next month. This is unfair.
People who running a business should have sense to pay on time to their workers. All of us need money to live a life.
I just hope before 10th of September I'll get my salary. I asked for it last few days and I'm shy to ask for it. They should understand our need.
May Almighty Allah arrange better opportunity to get paid on time automatic.
Thanks for reading guys
Have a blessed Tuesday!

If I were you I would gently ask for my money, because it is your right! Hope they pay before the date you mentioned!

you have the very right to ask for it every now and then because it is really is yours.. dont be shy about it because your employer should be the one who is ashamed of their doing

I agree with you that businesses should give the due payment of salaries to their employees because employees give the right time to work for the business. I do not know what the condition of your business is so I cannot say if it's because their finance management office is lacking in manpower or something, that's perhaps why your salaries are delayed a bit. But I hope they give you your salaries on time. We as employees also can be much more careful with our money and see to it that if our salaries are always late, we can adapt and budget keeping that in mind. What is the nature of your work?

@SHOHANA Oh I see, I work at a hospital in IT as well and they give us our due salaries on time. Private companies are somehow different but they should have integrity in giving out employee salaries at the right time. What do you do to cope up with their late giving of salaries?

Even without demand from the employee, it's the employer's obligation to pay the former's salary on time.

@SHOHANA If they've been delaying the release of the salary of their employees for a number of times, I better report them or file a labor/employment case against them - that way they'll understand that there's no need for a demand (from the employee) before he gets paid for work done.

I hope they pay you enough so that--after a few months--you won't even know-or-care what day payday is!

Hi! I always missed/overlooked your post. Glad to hear from you again!
If the employer don't give a salary on schedule, I think it's wise to ask for it. I believe some other people could do more than that.... I mean they could start a protest. I've heard such cases.
Hope you get the salary later.
