"What is a virtual community?"

As I remember before, this is a good virtual community. And capturing attention was easy before especially if the topic is one you can relate with. But I've been absent for so long, there must be some major changes.

No, I do not feel sad when it rains, I like a gentle rain, particularly during spring. You cannot "touch the heart" of every myLotter, as you cannot touch the earth of every human in the real world.

I am happy when it is raining. We really cannot capture the whole mylotters probably one reason is the time difference but still it is fun to be here

I love rainy days lol. In my childhood, I prepare paper ships and leave those in street water and enjoyed a lot.

Last year when still in Philippines, when it rains i felt lonely due to distance with hubbie.But now i am with him,i felt lonely because i miss my family in pH. That's how rain made me emotional sometimes.

This is a community! I like it here because we can read and get to know updates from other people and race.

@Shavkat I hate rainy days but the only time we get rain here in Jerusalem is in the winter. To me when it is raining that means that the cold will come or is here and that means if I have to go out I have to wear layers. I also suffer more in the winter from my rhinitis.

Mylot is indeed a virtual community where people can share their own thoughts and feelings. For me, I don't think you can truly touch the heart of everyone here. We all have different thoughts, opinions, and the like and that's what makes things interesting. What's important is the accumulation and sharing of knowledge to any heart that is open. With various wonderful topics you can share, you reach out as you can but not everyone will give an answer you are expecting - empathetic, sympathetic, etc. Some will point out another perspective, and some may seem to offend you but alas, it is a community of discussion so forcing your thoughts in others is ineffective to capture their hearts. Anyway, the rain is a natural process of the earth cleansing the ground so I don't find myself feeling sad when it does. Nothing we can do about it if it rains, and I find myself enjoying a cup of coffee with a good book on my hand as I hear the pitter-patter of the pouring rain. Such a comforting thought.
