I know people have different number of meals per day in different places!
In our family we have mainly three meals.
Early in the morning we have our breakfast and in the afternoon we have pur lunch and in the night we have the dinner!
Between the lunch and the dinner we have some light snacks along with the tea in the evening!
How about you - How many meals do you have per day?

I have a light breakfast, a bigger lunch and a light dinner unless I have guests. I eat snacks depending on the day.

Pretty much the same with your eating practice - breakfast, lunch, supper, with two light snacks in the middle (heavy for some), and the midnight snack for nocturnal creatures.

@AKRao24 Am not a midnight snack person but the juvenile up at night are. Far as I know, they love chips and cookies, tacos or nachos with salsa dips, etcetera.
I must make a survey for that, honestly.

@eileenleyva , Yes, you need to do a survey if you are nt a midn9ght snack person! I often wonder if the persons who have midnight scacks are they really hungry or they have them to satisfy psychologically?

@AKRao24 Sticking to my diet and exercise I am able to control my sugar and managing all health issues that I have. Don't want to have too much medicine.

I was raised eating three meals a day---that's the way America teaches (it's why we HAVE the words "breakfast," "lunch" & "dinner").
Then I got older (it started around 25 or 30 ... before that, I was forever young ), and Acid Reflux convinced me to replace 'dinner' with "a snack" (usually a banana, right before bedtime).
That, and a friend at church told me it's healthier to eat just 2 meals a day ... although some call that "intermittent fasting."
So, 2 meals and one snack every day.

@AKRao24 Sort of. I used to have 'both dinner AND a snack.'
I probably still could, if I wanted to risk getting "addicted" to antacids (TUMS).

@mythociate , It is always better to keep the stomach on the lighter side instaed of over loading! Yes, otherwise we may need some antacids to soothe it!

Usually it is three meals a day. Breakfast is late, lunch is in the afteroon, and dinner is usually very late. Though technically, it's actually breakfast, dinner, and supper. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and go have a snack. It can be milk or kefir and cookies or something else baked. It could be cereal too.

@florelway , I also never used to have breakfast , but my dietician after my angioplasty which I underwent two years back, says that I should never skip the breakfast and the meals should be distributed in small portions which can be had more frequently!

@AKRao24 usually we have some pasta or bananas or bread as snacks. I am not actually avoiding them but sometimes there's a lot of work that I miss on getting snacks. But in the morning I prefer not having one because I wanted to enjoy lunch.

Same here. Three healthy meals, and a light snack by 6 PM. Every now and then I skip the light meal.

Most of the time I only have two because I don't really like breakfast so I have lunch, a light snack, and then dinner.
