I have an issue with PayPal account of husband which i am using, that's why the money is not credited yesterday though we received a notification that mylot has sent the amount.
He need to upgrade into a business account so that he will be able to received payment overseas. As it says there indian users are required to do it,according to PayPal.
How about you mylotters?
Is your PayPal smoothly going on?
No trouble in receiving payments?

I don't understand why PayPal are requiring you to have a business account. We have many users from India with personal accounts who have received payments from us for many years without problems.
I suggest that you set up your own personal account instead of using your husband's. I believe that you have to have a PAN card and that you are required to link your PayPal account with a bank and you must verify that you can send and receive payments. The name you use for PayPal must match the name registered for your bank account. You also have to give a category (from a drop down list) for what the payments will be for. PayPal will automatically transfer any amount in your PayPal balance greater than $10 to your bank. These are all requirements set out in an agreement between PayPal and the RBI.

@myklj999 I haven't heard of any changes and, with the number of Indian users here, I would have expected to hear something if there had been any major changes or problems with existing personal accounts.
