Sea breeze, finally!

Yesterday afternoon, I was invited by my brother to go to his in-law's place. HIs wife and children are actually there. The children have been staying there since March, the start of the lockdown.
His in-law's live by the sea and the moment he invited me I immediately said yes. Why? Because I haven't been in the sea since March and I have been dying already. And the timing was perfect too because we went there late afternoon. Which means I'll be able to capture a beautiful sunset.
I love sunset by the sea. My nephew is in the photo coz I wanted to take a silhouette for a photo challenge.
Do you love the sea and the sunset too?

@toniganzon We had a view on the sea from our apartment. The sunrise was beautiful, it came out from a place called "Cap Martin", it was a beautiful sight.

@toniganzon Manila Bay Sand is what they are calling it. People can easily be fooled. The money spent on it should have been used to directly help the people during this pandemic.
Anyway, nothing beats watching sunsets and sunrises.

White sand in Manila Bay! OH and the sunset there is beautiful. I remember back in college I enjoyed staying in my Uncle's office coz he got the Manila Bay view and the sunset. I'd watch the sun go down slowly, never taking my eyes off it. No smartphone back then yet. All I had was a cellular phone with no camera.

Thank you Carol. Glad that you love it. I've always been a sunset lover. Not a fan of sunrise but I like sunrise too. Especially when I was in Bangkok. I would be taking the bus before sunrise and then I'd watch the huge red sun slowly come up. I was fascinated coz I'd never seen a sun as huge as the sun in Thailand.

@toniganzon I love them both but cannot see the sunrise from my deck. I have a great view of the sunset. And in TN, there are no beaches close by. So I enjoy the deck views.

I love both the sea and the sunsets. I am very fortunate to live near enough to the ocean to be able to drive there whenever I want. I wish I could go back to the days of living on the beach like I did when I was growing up (my grandmother had a house right on the beach).

I'm a great photographer as long as it's a camera phone!
My uncle owns a beach but he opened it to the public. I remember when I was a kid we would go and stay in their beach house. That beach house is no longer there. I couldn't remember when it was demolished. But I know that even in my grade school days it wasn't there anymore. I think I was less than 5 years old when I used to play there with my cousins.

@toniganzon You must have some great memories of playing on the beach as a child. I surely do. I considered the beach my "playground." I was out there every morning and evening (before and after school) playing in the sand and surf.

@toniganzon My uncle's "best friend" (not a really good friend) has two trailers near a beach. That is the only beach we now go to. I don't like my uncle's friend. There is nothing to do there. I have had some bad experiences that have ruin my times at the beach.

I love sunsets. I live right near the Atlantic Ocean but have not ventured to the beach since all this began. Now you make me want to go so since it is within walking distance I will venture forth next week,
