Are you more of a Do-it-yourself or “hire someone to do it” kind of person?

On simple things, I mostly try to do it myself. But for household repairs and other stuff I don’t know much of, I don’t attempt to do it myself. I’m afraid instead of fixing the problem, I might just end messing it up. I’d rather hire someone for anything major or for house repairs. And speaking of house repairs, I just called the plumber to fix the leaking faucet outside in the garden.

I once tried fixing that garden faucet, I had water everywhere and the faucet is still leaking! Now the plumber will fix what I ‘fixed’.

@pitsipeahie I call for some serious matters, but I try to do the most I can myself.

That is good! If you can and know how then why not. Saves the expenses of having someone else do the job.

Depends on what needs to be done. Sometimes, doing it yourself costs more.

At first, I like to try to do things myself. And if I can't do it than ask for help. But certain things you have to hire a pro right away.

Yes, that’s true. Though it can be a trial and error thing.

I am a do it myself person and I dob't find difficullty in fixing small problems pertaining to electricity, plumbing , about my Car etc. But if the task requires more of energy then I would like to call a mechanic to fix it!

Normally hire someone. It's done quicker and much more nicer than if I do it myself.
