Neighbor’s Music

My neighbor is blasting their music really loud. It’s been two straight days and even in the evenings. My ears are ringing from the loudness. I wish at least they are considerate enough to lower it down a bit. I’ve played music but not compared to how they do their music. On top of it, it’s like an ongoing party. Do you have a neighbor that plays unbearable loud music? Photo credit: Pixabay

@meowch Its rude anyway you look at it and I was joking but you should not have to do that. Its not a bad investment though, because people just rude these days period and it it is a bit of a lost cause because you squash one problem a new one comes.

Maybe I can make my room sound proof no sound that gets in. Or I can buy noise canceling headphones.

It happens once in some months. They like karaoki. Sing by themselves while the song is being played without the vocals. They do it loudly from some buildings away. I recommend you to install an application that can measure noise level .If it gets too loud, please talk to your neighbours. Show them the noise level that they do.

That's a good idea. No more noise nowadays and I'm so thankful.

@meowch yes, that is so true. I am sure it is quite pretty annoying there especially when you want to rest

I don’t understand why people play loud music unless they can’t hear clearly. Maybe one day they both move to a different location. I suggest maybe buy a noise canceling headphones.

@meowch The people who do so are thoughtless ones. They don't realise how many problems they create in the lives of people who live with and around them.

If my neighbor does this, he or she will talk to a policeman.

No, I don't have a neighbor like yours. Is there any chance you call the cops up to knock on his door?

@meowch that's nice to hear. If it happened again, you might have to call them.

I used to have a neighbor who was a opera singer. He would sing at all hours of the day or night, . . The walls of the building were very thin. He stopped when I learned all the words and sang with him. He got the hint and then went someplace else to practice. . . I guess my voice isn't as good as his.

I wonder if he is practicing for a singing contest. Singing all day and all night that is tiring to the ears.

Funny that you should ask, right now there is loud music outside. Maybe because we are on lockdown so they think that everyone will enjoy this music from their homes. . . I feel that each person could put on their own music and not bother everyone in the neighborhood!

It was after 11pm so I called the police. 5 minutes later the music stopped. If it like this I will practice clarinet and saxophone from 10:30 pm to 11:00pm every night!
