Cutting Firewood

Last year we had a great two trunked tree to fall in our woods just outside our yard. My wife and l started cutting firewood and made great progress for a while. Then, we got to the scene above with no more progress. The main reason was that l drug a bag of garbage into my heel, with something really sharp inside the bag, which cut a gash into the back of my left heel and cutting about 1/4 inch into my achilles tendon. Crutches led to a walking boot which led to a knee scooter which led to being healed except for slightest remaining pain.
Anyway, the wonderful limbs are there for cutting for next year's fires.

I like the pun at the end of this one, brought a smile to my face. Hopefully you have been cutting tree limbs for the real fires and not more human limbs for the firey trials of life.
