Don't mind if I do

I just finished ordering the Carbquik on amazon for a friend. I decided to treat myself to two boxes of Atkin's bars because they were a better deal than what I could get elsewhere. That brought the total up so that I could get free shipping. I'll have to pick up some sugar free reese's to complete my friend's present. I don't shop with amazon much anymore, but I was browsing through their keto options and will have to do some comparison shopping...

@ScribbledAdNauseum I ordered a set of hook small to big, like 6 pieces per set. The biggest I think is 5 or .5. The problem is I did not know that yarns have sizes too...... All the while, I thought that when you crochet, you use one size which now I know is size 10. And I want to start on a project but most of the things I see in youtube use weighted yard and big sizes yarn. I wanted to start on a simple headband or a fingerless gloves. But it will take eternity if I use the thread like yarn

Going to give it to him this weekend. Yeah! I think I'm going back to Amazon to get some keto stuff for their Christmas. Either that or I'll get one of those keto boxes for them.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Well hopefully he'll like it. Sounds like a good plan....the boxes are good too. Can be fun to see what they have. I need to share about the November box, just haven't got around to it yet.

@Marty1 No, you don't get to pick what is in the Keto Boxes unfortunately. It's supposed to be a surprise....so you can try new things.

I have amazon prime. I love free shipping! I have never heard of sugar free Reece’s. I wonder if they are as good as regular.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I got a free year through my telephone/internet company is the only reason I have prime.

To me they taste better than regular reese's. They seem creamier somehow and they taste a lot like Reese's Piece's, atleast to me. I used to have prime but then I started shopping elsewhere and decided to get rid of it.

@Tina30219 My friend (his wife) told me that it was sweet of me to think of that as a gift for him. I told her to "tell me it's sweet once she's having to do the biscuit prep!"

@Marty1 Yes it does. In fact I gotta make my grocery shopping soon. Glad to hear customer service helped you to cancel the order. Did they explain to you why that happened?

Carbquik contains palm oil, this would be a reason for me not to buy. I am boycotting all products with palm oil and I am glad they will be banned soon here. Let's the Amazonian forest live.

I have started to notice that palm oil is in quite a few keto friendly items. There is even soap that I buy which has palm oil in it. I wasn't aware that it had palm oil until I had already bought it, or I would not have.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I hate palm oil, it is not even healthy, but it's CHEAP, terribly cheap! I only buy products without palm oil. I see more and more products stating "NO PALM OIL", they know that it's garbage.

I still shop on Amazon because I earn Amazon credits from some of the survey/panel sites that I belong to. Got our new phone system free with Amazon credits.

I used to shop amazon for that very reason, but I don't use websites that give those anymore.

Carbulose Flour, basically a low carb version of bisquik.
