I have a Dodge Grand Caravan. 2012, with an astounding number of kilometers on it. Clearly, we are high mileage users. :) I was driving it today. 83,3xx kms. That 51,7xx miles. The xx is a number I don't remember. And the worst part is, it's worth dick on trade. And the truck we want, isbottom end, and still costs more than our house.

It is sad that we work out behinds off for something and then it is worthless soon after. I just traded in my 2015 Sorento and got under 5,000 for it. It was high mileage with apx. 169,xxx miles on it.

Planned obsolescence. Wouldn't be so bad if they were melted for scrap faster. But most are just stacked up to rot.

@BCRMike My thought was that they knew about this problem from the beginning and forces either big repair or trade in. It's a shame.
