October 9 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today has been a good day. I was able to interact for a short time this morning before my son picked me up to do laundry and get me to my therapy appointment.
I'm thankful for the therapy appointment this morning. I graduated from the walker to the cane and got my knee bent to 90 degrees. 
I only have 20 degrees to go as they want me at 110 before they do the surgery on the left knee. Things are really going well. I'm making more progress daily.
I'm thankful I figured out how to use the ice machine. I hooked it up and spent a couple of hours with the wrap, wrapped around my knee.
I'm thankful for the phone call to Marie @Tampa_girl7. We talked the whole time I iced my knee.
That has been my day so far. My back is still painful and I need to get more ice on it and the massage pad. I thought I could interact with the massage pillow for my chair, but my back is not happy, so I need to get off when I just got on. I'll try to interact more tomorrow and Sunday.

@just4him We got a lot more rain and wind with this one. We lost electricity around 8 pm last night and it was still out this morning. I called in the outage since we don't have close neighbors...didn't want to be left out in getting hooked back up and found that the whole substation for the city and surrounding area was down. They have to wait on Entergy to fix main supply before our electricity co. and get everybody back online.
Ironically, we followed the storm as we had another week planned and left early Saturday morning. We made it through the tornados in Atlanta area. The sirens going off were LOUD.

I'm glad Hurricane Delta doesn't have rain following it.

Well, of course, another day but my right knee which as had a torn cartilage removed ages ago has been acting up and if I move too quickly it seems to go out on me and causes very much pain and then just as quickly stops hurting so today I am thankful it was behaving itself all day long, I am glad to hear you are healing,
