5 eggs hatch after 3 weeks incubating the mother. I immediately separated them from their mother so as not to die from being trampled. I have to be patient waiting for 3 more chicks. If within three days the chicken eggs do not hatch, it means the eggs are damaged.

Sometimes the last few eggs take a few days longer. I hope they all hatch for you.

Two more haven't hatched since this post. Maybe both are broken. 6 hatched from 8 eggs. I think 75% is not bad.

What are your plans with your chickens? Are you raising them for meat or for eggs? My plan is to buy a farm so I am counting down the days to when I have a bunch of baby chicks running around.
