I'm Sick

A couple of nights ago I had a sore throat. I threw back two echinacea and 4 vitamin c and it went away. Woke up early the next morning with an even sorer throat. So I took the same stuff and went back to bed. I was fine when I woke up later and I have been drinking my echinacea tea with lemon but...
A little stuffed up, coughing, got a scratchy throat, sometimes warm sometimes cold, just not feeling great. I'm constantly taking my temperature because of COVID. I can't go shopping because one mustn't go into a public place if one is sick even with a mask on. Hubby said he was going to go but he doesn't know what I like in particular. We'll see what happens there. I just hope and pray I don't have COVID.

Can you get tested? It sounds pretty suspicious. My dad thought he had allergies, got worse, and then tested positive. He got so sick I worried about his life. You don't have to get a fever to have it, although my dad did have a fever. One woman I know simply lost her sense of taste, and that's why she went to get tested; and she had it.
I don't mean to scare you. I'll be praying for you.

You're not scaring me. I am on high alert. I feel a lot better now than I did last night and this morning. My throat is scratchy but I'm not coughing like I was this morning. I'm not stuffed up either. I think my echinacea tea really helps.

Oh, I hope so, too. Take it easy and get well.

In some reports, Covid starts out as a dry sore throat. I hope you didn't contract it, some way.

@kobesbuddy I have but you know millennials' attitude. I did tell my daughter's fiance that I didn't like that he brought a couple of his friends into my house on two separate occasions. He said he wouldn't do it again.

I had a sore throat one evening last week and took echinacea pills and 4 vitamin C and that made it go away. Woke up with an even worse sore throat the next day, took the same thing and it eased it again. I've also been drinking a lot of echinacea tea with lemon wedge so yesterday was coughing in the morning which made my throat scratchy and sore the rest of the day. I feel much better today.
If I contracted COVID it's from my family members who are not following the no socializing rule. They keep expanding my bubble beyond my control. I have spoken to them but... they work. What can you do?

@patgalca I guess, just chance getting the deadly virus, that's all you can do. Have you tried saying NO?

I am feeling better, but still a bit of lingering discomfort. Here we cannot get tested for COVID anymore unless we have some symptoms. I should get a test while I have symptoms just to set my mind at ease. My family members come in contact with so many people during a day which I have no control over.

I hope not as well. I like fresh pineapple or pineapple juice when I have a sore throat and horse radish for congestion. Horseradish works even if you just breathe it in.

@andresbp6 It was temporary. I started feeling yucky later in the afternoon. Hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow.
