Do you like Pumpkin Soup?

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening my dear mylotters
I woke up in a very cold weather here and because of that I`m thinking of preparing a Pumpkin Soup 
First you have to boil your pumpkin with a liter of chicken stock with a kilo of cut in cubes pumpkin and while boiling it fry some garlic, onion and chopped carrots then after that set aside and wait until the pumpkin is soft and ready for blender. After you blend it you can now combine the chicken stock, grind pumpkin and the fried garlic, onion and carrots together. Then there you have it a very nice Pumpkin soup.

I love pumpkin soup but not adding carrots, I prefer to add potatoes and I do not boil the pumpkin first, I cut both potatoes and pumpkin in very small cubes, I heat some butter and oil, I add chopped onions, I add the cubes and cook for a few minutes, I pour the broth and cook until tender, then I mix.

We have pumpkin but less popular to eat. Only people in certain cook that.

I like pumpkin soup. But being a vegetarian I use the same recipe minus the chicken stock. I boil it in water. We also have pudding of pumpkin here as a sweet dish here and I like that too. That one is sweet and uses different preparation.
