My dad's battle with Covid is officially over. He got tested yesterday, and it was officially negative. Yesterday was the end of my two week quarantine, and I never exhibited any symptoms. To my utter amazement, my dad's wife never got it, and tested negative twice. There is no social distancing when you're taking care of your Covid afflicted spouse, yet she never got it. He's still getting his strength back, but he feels far and away better. I look forward to giving him a big hug! Do you know anyone who had Covid? I know a few mylotters did have a parent or adult child with it.

I'm so glad your father is better. I just know of a couple of MyLot members that had the virus.

That's a good news!! My two brother in laws recently fought the virus. Now they are fully recovered. And of course quite a few mylotters here have won the fight with this nasty virus. Wishing your dad a speedy recovery. It's really surprising that his wife was not infected. But then that's a good news.

That's right, you hug him as tight as your arms will let you, he overcame a terrible thing. We do not know for certain, but we feel like my hubby had it in early January last year. He had all of the symptoms, a temperature, laboured breathing, I mean it could have been the actual flu, but we will never know as they were not testing back then for covid as they are now.

I am so glad that he's getting better nad that you and your dads wife are both doing good and didn't get sick. Before we knew a whole lot about it, we're pretty sure that my mother in law and step son had it. But it was just like the flu and they were fine within a couple of days.
