Never envy anyone.....

I recently downloaded a certain jokes app in my phone through playstore and I am loving it. It has very funny jokes and I love reading them and sharing through Whatsapp. Some jokes are just general ones where you just laugh, like this one, "I can't wait to give birth to twins so that I can name them Rules and Regulations"

Then there are others that you not only laugh but you also learn something good. For example this one "Never envy everyone in life. Not everyone who walks so fast has an appointment, some have a running stomach". This is funny but so true. It reminds us not to be jealous of people around us. The irrationality in jealous is that;
1. You don't know if the person's life is perfect, you are only jealous of the little good you see. For example, you could be so jealous of that career woman who seems to have it all together in life and you feel so bad because all you do is be a housewife, take children to school and pick them up later. On the other side, that woman is so jealous of you for having children and a family because she does not have the ability to give birth to her own children.
2. Another person's success does not threaten yours, so don't let jealousy prevent you from being your level best.
So envy is something that happens to us naturally, we just find ourselves being jealous. While we can't prevent it, we have the responsibility of how we conduct ourselves when we feel it. So when you feel jealous, then ask yourself what is that that you are jealous of. It could be because the person has virtues and material things that you desire to have. So you dispute it by saying that the fact that the person has it does not prevent you from having it too.
