Good morning.Dark and dreary day.
Today will be a quiet day.Mike is off to the laundry.
Just had a wonderful hot shower. Not I feel too relax.

The children are not too happy.
Off or On.Many are off.
Oh I wish things get back to normal soon.

It's still on in my town but who knows how many children will actually trick or treat. Guess I'll get some candy just in case the doorbell rings

They are leaving it up to the families to decide if they should not take their children out. I personally am not going to bring Little Miss out and about. I am making good sized bags of candy for the kids that do show up here.
I have asked them to text me when they will be here so I can place the bags outside for them. That way we can see one another and at least say hello.
I am also having a candy hunt for Little Miss so she can have fun finding the candy and filling her bucket. I may bring her to a few family members homes to see them. Not going door to door this year.

As of now. I think there will be no trick or treat here too to prevent those kids be exposed to people. It is not so good this year but I`m hoping that next year will be better

They had it here but I did not hand anything out. I gave goodie bags to the kids that I know,.

They have not come right out and said that the kids should not go out, only that they should wear proper masks (c-19) practice physical distancing and to have fun.
Its a little contradictory.
As a parent I could not imagine sending a little one out in this for some candy that I could give to them.

It's wise to cancel it. It's canceled here, too. I would be very uncomfortable letting my kids go trick or treating if they were young and not allow it. I also don't want to open the door to anyone else's kids.
They can still dress up, bob for apples, get candy from their parents, and make their own spooky fun.

I'm not sure, but possibly tricks or treating will be cancelled here, also. The older children will probably go knocking door to door anyway, but the smaller kids will be kept at home.
