A nap turned into a sleep

I laid down around 5 pm for a nap. I woke up to use the bathroom and looked at my watch. . . 10 pm! Whoa! Where did the night go?
Of course now I'm up and wide awake so it will be awhile before I can fall back asleep. I have totally screwed up my sleep schedule now. I was planning to go to the gym tomorrow morning but I don't see that happening after this.

That happened to me on Wednesday night. I laid down on the couch at around 5:30pm for a short nap, and woke up the next morning at 5:30am when my alarm went off for work. Guess I really needed the sleep if I slept soundly for 12 straight hours!

That happens to me all of the time. I'll lie down, tell myself, I'm just resting my eyes. The next thing I know.... several hours have gone by.

It happens always when you are tired. your body demands to rest that is why a nap could turn into a full asleep that would go straight to night time and when you wake up at the middle of the night you could not return back to your sleep....one of the the best thing to get you back to sleep is to make your eyes tired....do some phone activities or watch tv until you fall back to sleep....
