Yesterday, i watched the news and for the first time, I heard almost no reports of.Covid. That was because most headliners were these provinces that experienced floods because of typhoon Quinta.
The typhoon caused damages to properties. A lot of people lost their houses.
Floods in Batangas, Cavite and Quezon province and Bicol were so heavy that it was like swimming in the pond.
We did not feel much the brunt of typhoon as we live in Metro Manila. We just experienced rains.

We were lucky Manila did not get hit badly by the typhoon. But my father who is in Bicol has texted me that they are ok just a bit shaken once again. Good thing they are located in higher grounds that is why they experienced strong winds and rains but no flooding in their place. Just banana trees all are down at this point and trees were not uprooted. So I guess I am glad it was not that bad for my father's place at least. One thing they had no power since the other day so they are pretty much living in the dark at night with no light and electric fan to cool them off.

I am sorry so many lost their houses. That would be a terrible feeling.

Glad the storm did not hit us this time in the northern part of our country but I feel sorry to those who have been under it...

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. I hope the floods did not endanger people's lives.
