Making bread and whatever else we dream up

Over the weekend my husband and I went to a big birthday party. I was talking to my stepdaughter and she said that her and her husband where so sick of cooking. Then my husband and I were watching a commercial and the people were so excited that they didn't have to cook anymore. My husband and I just looked at each other and shook our heads because we love to cook.
Over the years I have met lots of people that asked me how to make things and a friend of mine told me her mother only made tv dinners for them. I taught her how to cook even though I feel that some of it comes from the heart.
I get frustrated when I don't have the time to cook but it's not because I don't like to cook. My favorite dish is homemade pasta, homemade meat balls and from scratch spaghetti sauce. My husband makes bread. Honestly, I really have a tough time choosing a favorite. lol
What's your favorite? If you don't like to cook, why not? I like to cook because I like to create. Thanks for stopping by.

My husband is the baker. I must watch my sugar. We both are in rather good shape. Fortunately, I also like to exercise. My husband not so much but at least he does even though its more of a struggle for him.

@DearAphrodite I wish I can do some experiments in the kitchen department.

I actually do enjoy cooking, but I'll use a lot of shortcuts for health reasons. I wish I could do more from scratch, but it can take more energy and muscle that I don't always have. So I'll use pasta from a box, and instant mashed potatoes. But, I still cook.

@DearAphrodite That's true. As long as I can make it work, that's the important thing I think.

Great to know. My mom is a good cook, I really like everything that she cooked except for one recipe that my aunt taught her and that my dad really likes... anyway she always cook especially when there is a family party.
Anyway, I think I can cook if I will just practice but for now, I will enjoy eating first. Lolz!
