Care to Learn Russian? Our Little Miss...

...wants to learn it. This morning, we were discussing to help other people selflessly. It comes to the point that she asked me how many languages I can speak. I humbly answered her that I can speak five (English, Filipino, Russian, Tajik, and Mandarin). With her eyes wide open, she pleaded to teach her the Russian language. Are you open to learn a second language? Are you multilingual? Image Credit: social.hays.com

That's wonderful you speak so many languages. I only speak English. I understand some French and German as I took those languages in school. However, that was a very long time ago. I cannot speak them now, but I can understand what someone is saying.

It was a self-study way when working in China (Mandarin) and Tajikistan (Tajik and Russian). I grabbed the chance to learn the languages by talking to the locals. I am grateful that we use English as a second language in my country and that includes the first language (Filipino).

My son right now is studying Russian language as one of his subjects to take in college. I hope he learns it well as I know it is different from other languages that we know. I only know Filipino(tagalog), Bikolano and English only.

It is easy to learn the Russian language because the sentence structure is like in English. He needs to learn how to pronounce the Russian words and how they will change with the tenses. I am sure he can do it.

Wow, you're amazing! Learning another language is a fun process. I am on Duolingo, trying to learn Japanese. My progress is really slow though. Take times to memorize the words.

I guess I am just curious to learn new languages. I agree that it needs to learn more words to be fluent in speaking a particular language.

Well, I always speak more than two... am I open to learn a 6th language? No, I do not think so, aging it's harder to learn a language.
