I Was a Man.. for a Day.

It was for Halloween. Of course!
This halloween, my partner and I decided to be...a man. What an experience that was! Last year we were witches! We wanted to change it up!
It's amazing how by doing so, you change your whole attitude. I felt more "I don't care what people think" attitude. Now if only I could think that all the time!
The beard/mustache was a great experience (not really) took me half the day to get it half ways decent.
Definitely didn't let the covid stop me for enjoying Halloween with my partner, sadly though, seeing kids out and about this year, was not a thing! I spent the night though with my mom, aunt. We celebrated, and played Cards Against Humanity! My mom kept looking at me, probably thinking.."What happened to my daughter!?" It was fun though! Being a man, well, that was a great experince, for sure, fun times..
Hope your Halloween was a crazy one too? I mean errr, a good one!

Your post reminds me of the many personalities I was mistaken for when I was still working. I was mistaken for a priest, a monsignor, a pastor, an engineer, a doctor and the funniest of all - a mayor :) I made a post on this in my earlier discussions here some years ago.

Love it! Great job on the beard/stache - what did you use? We had a good stay-in-the-house Halloween - and the kids didn't mind. They wore their costumes all day. We baked Halloween cookies and they had their stash of candies. Dinner and a movie. That was just enough Halloween .

@x0MandyLynn0x My kids aren't super little, so they were ok with no trick or treating - as long as they got their candy . Oh my gah - mascara?? But hey it worked and looks so convincing!!

Aww that's sweet that you did the with your Family! Must have been weird for the kids staying in? But I'm sure they had a great time, that sounds like a ton of fun!
Thank you! I actually just used mascara....lots of it! Thankfully I have a few of them!

@DianneN Definitely adds a lot more variety that's for sure! Just takes forever to take out and put back in though... get ready to shuffle them a lot too!

Oh no! Sad! Try to enjoy things you love even if we are all going through crazy times! It's good to not forget to do things that make us happy! Animal onesies are awesome!!

My son has dark hair that length and a similar beard/mustache. You don't look nearly as 'manly' as he does , but I must say you did a great job! What a fun idea!

That's awesome! I might be scared if I looked as manly as your son. Start questioning myself hahahaa! Thanks so much! I hope you have a fantastic day!
