Do you ever . . .

Do you ever look at things and say "Why am I keeping that?" I am beginning to. I need to tidy my space and make more room for things I really love. I need to get well organized. So that will be one step ahead for me.

I cannot throw things away. Some would say I should have a yard sale, but usually I just donate to a thrift shop.

@GardenGerty I never throw things, when I have several boxes I call the local charity and they send someone to collect my boxes.

My husband is the packrat in the family. So the question isn't so much ' why am I keeping it, but rather why does he think he needs it'? To be fair, over the years and our several moves, we've gotten rid of a lot of things. However, we lovingly call one room in our house the "pod", because it started out as a dumping ground for things we couldn't fit anywhere else.

Yes I have been saying that to myself for the last few days. During these 7 months of lockdown and working from home I have been accumulating a lot of things that I think I need to start getting rid off now.

@GardenGerty For me it has been the other way around. Have been so busy with office work from home that I have not given much attention to the house. Just doing my daily routine work everyday.

I am continually finding a few more things to get rid of. I still have plenty of stuff!! It does improve your mental state I think if you keep organised.

For me, it begin with 'Why on Earth did I buy this?', Then I proceed to the would I keep it. If it's my mom, mostly the answers would be yes.
