Pork Costs High

This is good news for people not eating pork or for vegans, but the rising cost of pork products is unwelcome for pork consumers.
Agricultural officials say the African Swine Flue affected pig production greatly, so there was less supply in the market.
A kilo of pork now costs almost the same as kilo of beef. So even the cost of holiday hams, bacon, etc. will be affected.
It is better to shift to chicken meat for my protein source; it is cheaper.

@acelawrites I can see that that false prophet pastor is experiencing the bad effect of this. He brings pig's meat every night. Thus, he can't sell them.

but there are times I also miss eating pork even if it is more expensive. And there are dishes that we don't add chicken, like dish with squash.

all meats're high here. 'f course all groceries 're high here fer what'cha get. purty sure that 'middle man' 'tis laughin' all the way to the bank.
