My tutor cannot sub tutor today because of her slow connection. It has been the problem here all along. It is a monopolized business here, reason maybe why the company does not even do something to better their service.
More businesses are affected by this problem not just those private individuals. I hope the government will fix this issue.

I'm not sure where you're from, but the government isn't god, they can't fix every issue. The internet connection is one of those things the government has no control over. It's up to individual providers to strengthen their connections by ensuring they have enough towers, fixing those towers if they break. You also have to remember, the internet is shared by everyone. The more people who try to use it, the slower it's going to be. For example, my connection usually runs pretty fast. However, during certain hours, it'll run slower because more people are connecting to the network. You also have to take geophery into consideration. Those in densely populated areas, might have slower connections because trees, power lines, and buildings get in the way. Then you have the roual areas, where the signal may not travel as far.
So, the government can't really do anything to fix the problem.

True.
A lot of my colleagues are losing important work hours due to an intermittent internet connection.

I can sympathize, internet there really sucks. And it does not matter what provider I used - they are all the same! When I moved here, I got spoiled with the speed of the internet. And if we have an issue, they deploy a technician within the same day to resolve.

I also do hope our country have a better internet service. We get less than what we pay for.
