Alex Trebek has lost his battle with pancreatic cancer.
The second host of the TV game show Jeopardy! passed away peacefully at his home today, according to a tweet by the show.
Old timers will remember Art Fleming as the original host (he appeared in the Weird Al video “I Lost on Jeopardy”), but Trebek made the show his own. Indeed, it’s hard to think of Jeopardy! without him.
Farewell, Alex Trebek, who was 80.

I just saw that, and was wondering about him like 2 days ago as to how he was doing. I hadn't heard anything. He looks good on the shows..but who knows how long ago they were taped. I wonder who will host Jeopardy now? My preference would be Ken Jennings...but don't know if he is interested...

The article I read said he taped the last show on October 25.

@FourWalls Wow, I guess he must have been on a steady decline since then.

He wasn't that old and it was really sad. I'm happy he made us happy with the show.
