Do you think that the governments in each country should impose restrictions on the number of children. Fact is that the planet is overpopulated, but I know families with 8 children. They keep breeding like rabbits. I know women pregnant literally every year. I think 3 or ,2 children bis enough for a family.

Are those who have eight children economically and educationally ready to raise that many children to be future leaders?

I remember that being a discussion decades ago. Don't hear much about it now. We can't even agree on climate change here.

Although 8 children is a lot, 1 or 2 children may have the population age.

Don't compare human to animal. People have their own reasons. Some people can't afford contraception, some people don't do it because of the religion.

@Marty1 against your religion? I wonder what your religion is. People who has a lot kids often from poor family. They can't afford contraception. They are already grateful for having meals for today. Tomorrow is another fight.

China already does/used to do that. However, it's kind of impossible to successfully do. You're talking about women's rights for one thing, and playing god with children's lives. It's bad enough that pro life and pro choice are still being debated. Rather than worry about overpopulation, focus on those lives that can be saved. Implment better programs to help adopt out children to families who an't have children.
