I found a few articles online about cooking rice using green tea. I don't know whether anyone is familiar with it though. I'm not talking about 'ochazuke', which pour green tea over the cooked rice but use the green tea to cook rice instead of plain water.
As we know, green tea has plenty of health benefits. Also, it's being promoted as a drink to help us lose weight. I must admit, this is more interesting than the rest of the benefit
I don't drink green tea. I've tried but the taste it's not to my liking. But if I can use it like this, maybe it can help me drink green tea.
Anyone ever heard of this method? Anyone ever try it?

I have heard of using "matcha", finely ground green tea, in smoothies. I think I have heard of it in rice as well.
