What are you up to on this sunny and cool Saturday?

I just got a call from a buddy. It looks like we're gonna record some music for that Friday evening pod cast, or whatever it's called, to raise money for a local music club.
I think I'm going to do The End is Not in Sight and Out of the Snow, two songs by Russell Smith of the Amazing Rhythm Aces. I wonder if anyone other than @FourWalls has heard of those two.
What are you up to today? I lit a candle for Diwali this morning and am cooking up some lunch right now.

Third rate romance, low rent rendevous?
I wallked down to the Rexall to get a newspaper and a bag of chips. Got the paper, they didn't have any normal chips, just flavored ones, so didn't get any.
And when I got home I raked up more leaves then sat in the back yard in the sun for a while drinking a cider and reading the paper. But it started to cool down, so I came in and talked to you.

We went four wheeling and then tried a new recipe for dinner

@TheHorse We used to have quite a few..but then we got puppies and apparently books taste really good to teething dogs.
I need to replace some books in the kiddos library but I am cleaning rooms and switching beds today, so that's a next weekend project. I am familiar with those books, used them a lot when I worked with kid s

I'm going to go hiking with a friend in the child Fall air. It IS sunny. Remind me and I'll send a couple of 'Aces songs along from YouTube this afternoon. They might be in your wheelhouse, both from a listening and playing perspective.

hope ya 'njoy yer time with yer buddy. i confess i've not heard 'f mr. smith nor his songs. 'tis a blustery day here'n the high plains, the air filled with dirt. 'tis a shame coz 'tis the warmest such's been this week. awfully miserable tryin' to tend schtuff though. so i've been cleanin' though such 'tis futile.

i like my cool days staying in my hometown but sunny days was there and i'm thankful i still feel cold and windy doing my little work :)
