Someone recommended an app called MyFitnessPal. I don't use many apps, but I decided to give it a try. I add the food that I eat, and I also add what type of exercise I do and how many minutes. I just started, but it seems like a good way to keep track of my progress. According to the app I have eaten too much today. I guess I should have skipped the ice cream we had for dessert, but I don't really regret it, it was very delicious Tomorrow I am going to add a long walk. I still use the vibration machine my husband gave me for my birthday, and I like it a lot. The first couple of days my knees hurt when I had used the machine, but I have adjusted the speed, and I don't experience pain now. My favorite sport is badminton, I had to quit that, but I am happy that I have found a different way to exercise.

I also use My Fitness Pal app. It helped me lose 10 pounds, but now I gained it back. I stopped using it for two months and now I slid back. Well, I decided to use it again today so helpfully I will shed the extra pounds. There is only one kind of diet that is proven to work and is sustainable - calorie deficit.

I hope that the app will help you lose weight again. I have experienced something similar. In the past I didn't use an app but I wrote my food down on a piece of paper, and I lost weight. Recently I have been spending too much time inside, and I didn't keep track of my food. I gained weight again, but I hope that the app will help.

That's good that you have a new way of exercising. I imagine you would miss your badminton games.

I miss badminton a lot. My husband and I used to play badminton every week and I always enjoyed it a lot. Now I use the vibration machine instead. It is great. When I adjust the speed my knees don't hurt.

@Shavkat That's nice. I like walking. There is an old castle in the area where I live and it is a nice place to go for a walk.

I love Badminton, I force my husband to play with me as soon as we have warm days, he needs to exercise.

It is good that you can play together. My husband and I used to play badminton every week and I always enjoyed it. It used to be my favorite type of exercise

@LadyDuck Yes, the days are short now. There is a park almost behind our house. In the summer months we like to go for a walk in the evening, now it is too dark.

Yes, I think so. I have been eating too much unhealthy food recently, and I want to change that.

I use local app by the health ministry to control my calories intake. It's call My Nutri Diary. I did try MyFitnessPal. But I guess the local app is more to my liking. Plus the food in the list is more towards the food that I normally eat. If I didn't find one in the list, I'll just search the ones with similar calories value.

It is great that you have found an app that you like. So far I have been able to find all of my food in the food list, but I just started so I don't know if it will continue that way. I hope that the app will help me lose weight.

I think so, but I just started using it, so I don't know the app that well yet. Someone recommended that app to me and I know that many people use it.
